 Location: Wanaka /Central Otago

Qualified Builder

You’ll be a key part of the crew on residential builds, renovations, and extensions - bringing strong carpentry skills, reliability, and pride in quality work. You’ll be trusted to complete tasks to a high standard, work efficiently with the team, and help keep the job moving without needing to be micromanaged.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Completing carpentry tasks accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard

  • Working across new builds, renovations, extensions, and small one-off contracts

  • Reading and following plans, specifications, and site instructions

  • Supporting the Foreman to keep workflow moving

  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship, site presentation, and safety

  • Looking after tools, materials, and gear on site

  • Communicating clearly when something is unclear, missing, or needs attention

  • Helping apprentices and less experienced team members build good habits where needed.

Leading Hand

You’ll be a key part of the crew on residential builds, renovations, and extensions - reliable, efficient, and capable of completing tasks with limited supervision. You’ll bring a solid kit of tools, help keep the site moving, and support the crew day-to-day while maintaining strong quality and safety standards.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Completing allocated tasks either unsupervised or with limited supervision to a high standard

  • Support the Foreman to keep workflow moving and site organised

  • Assisting with set-out, framing, fix, and finishing work, depending on the project

  • Helping guide less experienced team members with day-to-day tasks and good habits

  • Keeping a tidy, safe site and looking after tools/materials

  • Flagging issues early and communicating clearly with the Foreman
